The Museum

Art is the essence of Villa San Carlo Borromeo, art itself is a permanent museum: important works of art enrich every single corner of the premise, from the rooms to the halls, from the waiting rooms and lobbies to the stairways. Part of this permanent collection are Italian artists of the 19th century (just to name a few, Ambrosino, Bragaglia Baj, D'Addario, De Pisis, Fazzini, Frasnedi, Montevago, Nasso, Panichi, Rotella, Roth, Segantini, Trotti, Ungheri, Vacca, Vangelli), and important maestros of Russian art such as Anikushin, Antipov, Bielutin, Chagal', Gurwich, Lazykin, Lyssenko, Tereshenko, Zejtlin.

The Villa San Carlo Borromeo Art Museum is the center of contemporary art exhibitions coming from all over the world. It pursues and promotes the artisitic and cultural tradition of the italian renaissance, giving life to its splendid spaces with congresses, seminars, conferences, masters, events, theatrical events and exhibitions, bringing Villa San Carlo Borromeo to its peak in the culture of art around the whole planet.

Opened every day, except for mondays from 10 am to 8 pm.
Entrance ticket to the exhibitions; whole price € 8, reduced price € 5,50 (for under 13 years of age to above 65).
